The low-slung frame, with a minimum seat height of only 31 cm, provides a starting point for even the youngest riders. The classic diamond construction and cold-forged fork are designed to offer great strength, successfully accompanying the challenges of a growing child or older brother/sister. It is, for all intents and purposes, a miniature mountain bike, with knobby tires that nimbly overcome any surface, even the roughest, offering the comfort and stability needed by young riders.

The matte finish in this Sage Green version gives the bike a gritty look, without hiding the quality of the tubes and welds. CNC-machined aluminum hubs and axles, which run on sealed cartridge bearings, make the bike lightweight and reduce friction. Plus there's the safety of the rear brake, so you can learn from the start how to handle the lever at the handlebar and the decelerations that come with it, to better steer the bike; the custom Ritchey handlebar is designed specifically to fit the short mini-V levers.
